From Sketch to Screen

 Hey fellow design enthusiasts!

I recently completed a thrilling chapter as a design intern with TechieSays Junior, and boy, was it a rollercoaster of creativity and learning! Let me take you through this colorful journey of designing game assets for the little ones.

Designing for kids meant stepping into a world filled with vibrant imagination and endless energy. Fruits, stationeries, vehicles, shapes, and musical instruments and much more had became my creative playground, each asset carefully crafted to embody the whimsical spirit of childhood.

Kids are discerning critics, and every detail mattered. It wasn't merely about designing a fruit; it was about making it so irresistibly delightful that a child couldn't resist tapping it on their screen. Colors, shapes, and animations played pivotal roles in bringing these assets to life.

Beyond the gaming world, my creativity extended to crafting graphic banners and icons for TechieSays Junior's website. This was storytelling in a snapshot—communicating the fun and educational essence of the games through captivating visuals. The goal? To make parents as excited as their little ones for what awaited them.

Now, let's dive into the pearls of wisdom I gathered along the way:

Think Like a Kid:

Channeling my inner child was key. What colors and shapes would make me giggle with excitement? That was the mindset I embraced to connect with our young audience.

Simplicity is Key:

Kids appreciate straightforward visuals. Keep it simple, avoid clutter, and let the main elements shine. It's about creating a visually digestible and enjoyable experience.

Animate with Purpose:

Animation isn't just for show; it's a guide and an engagement tool. Whether it's a bouncing ball or a dancing fruit, every movement should enhance the user experience.

Feedback is Gold:

Kids are refreshingly honest, and their feedback is pure gold. Observing how they interacted with the designs provided invaluable insights, contributing to refining the assets further.

Before I sign off, I must express my gratitude. Of course, none of this would have been possible without the fantastic team at TechieSays Junior. My coworkers played a crucial role in improving my skills and enhancing my designs. It was a team effort that made my learning experience more enriching.

As I bid farewell to my internship, I carry not only a portfolio bursting with vibrant creations but a heart full of appreciation for the opportunity to contribute to the enchantment of TechieSays Junior.
